How to choose the best Korean Moisturizers for Dry Skin

When choosing the best Korean moisturizers for dry skin, there are several factors to consider. Here are some tips to help you make an informed decision:

    1. Skin Type: Identify your skin type and specifically look for moisturizers formulated for dry skin. Korean skincare products often have variations suitable for different skin types, including dry skin.
    2. Ingredients: Look for moisturizers with hydrating and nourishing ingredients that can effectively combat dryness. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, glycerin, and shea butter are known to provide deep hydration and restore moisture to dry skin.
    3. Formulation: Consider the consistency and texture of the moisturizer. For dry skin, you may benefit from richer and creamier formulas that offer intense hydration. Look for moisturizers labeled as “rich,” “nourishing,” or “deep moisturizing.”
    4. Reviews and Recommendations: Read reviews and seek recommendations from people with similar skin concerns. Online beauty communities and forums can provide valuable insights and personal experiences with different Korean moisturizers.
    5. Brand Reputation: Consider reputable Korean skincare brands known for their quality products and positive customer reviews. Popular Korean skincare brands include COSRX, Innisfree, Laneige, Etude House, and Klairs, among others.
    6. SPF Protection: If you are looking for a daytime moisturizer, consider products that also offer sun protection. Sunscreen is crucial for protecting your skin from harmful UV rays that can further damage dry skin.
    7. Patch Testing: If possible, perform a patch test before applying a new moisturizer all over your face. Apply a small amount to a discreet area of your skin and observe for any adverse reactions or allergies.

Remember, individual results may vary, and it may take some trial and error to find the best Korean moisturizer that works for your dry skin. It’s always a good idea to consult with a dermatologist or skincare professional for personalized advice based on your specific skin needs.

How To Choose Korean Skincare Products For Acne-Prone Skin

When it comes to selecting the best Korean skincare products for acne-prone skin, it’s important to arm yourself with the right knowledge. With so many products out there, narrowing in on the perfect items for you can be daunting.

    Choose The Right Formula

The first step to understanding which Korean skincare products are best for acne-prone skin is to get acquainted with the various formulations. Korean skincare products come in a variety of forms, like gels, serums, sheet masks, and creams.

Each of these has different benefits, like cleansing, hydrating, and shrinking pores. It’s important to identify which types of Korean skincare products would be most suitable for your skin type and skin condition.

    Choose The Right Ingredients

You should also familiarize yourself with the various ingredients used in Korean skincare products. These include medicinal plants like centella asiatica, salicylic acid, lactic acid, and tea tree oil.

It’s also important to recognize which ingredients to avoid if you suffer from acne-prone skin. Ingredients like alcohol, parabens, fragrances, and sulfates can irritate your skin and worsen breakouts.

    Hypoallergenic Products

When choosing the best Korean skincare products for acne-prone skin, it’s important to prioritize the key features. First, look for products that are marked as “gentle,” “soothing,” or “hypoallergenic.”

These formulations are specifically formulated to be non-irritating and reduce redness or swelling.

    Exfoliation

Some key benefits of Korean skincare products on acne-prone skin include exfoliation, hydration, and brightening. Look for products with natural exfoliating ingredients like salicylic acid, lactic acid, and fruit extracts.

These are generally gentle on the skin and can help reduce pore size, absorb excess sebum, and brighten the complexion.

    Hydration

For added hydration, you should look for products enriched with hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and light dermocosmetic oils.

These work to replenish the skin’s essential lipids and keep it balanced. If you’re looking for even more skin-care benefits, consider choosing a product formulated with calming and healing ingredients like aloe vera, green tea, and chamomile extract.

    Cleansing Agents

Keep in mind that Korean skincare products formulated for acne-prone skin will generally contain actives such as AHA or BHA, as well as botanical extracts such as green tea, licorice, and centella asiatica. These actives help to reduce inflammation, remove dead skin cells, and clear up existing blemishes.

Lastly, don’t forget to consult with a professional before making your decisions. A trained aesthetican can help you identify which ingredients and formulations are best for your skin type and provide personalized guidance for that extra bit of confidence.

Korean Acne Skincare Routine and Products

Here’s a simple morning Korean skincare routine for you to follow in order to reduce acne breakouts and nourish your skin.

    Step 1: Cleansing Oil

If you haven’t already, it’s time for you to jump on the bandwagon of the double cleansing method. This is specially recommended for those with oily and acne prone skin. There’s a common misconception that an oil cleanser is not good for oily, acne prone skin.

Korean oil cleansers formulated for oily skin are light on the skin. It works on the surface of your skin and doesn’t seep in – which means that it can’t clog your pores!

Take some of the oil cleanser on dry hand and start massaging over the dry face (even if you have makeup on). Massage for a couple of minutes and rinse thoroughly.

If you’re not sure which Korean oil cleanser for acne skin is the best – here’s my recommendation – Innisfree Green Tea Hydrating Cleansing Oil.

After this you follow it with a gentle foaming cleanser which brings us to our step 2 of the Korean skincare for acne.

    Step 2: Foaming Cleanser

A Korean foaming cleanser is gentle on the skin. Use a foaming cleanser to get rid of any remaining makeup or oil in your face.

The point of double cleansing method is to make sure that your face is completely clean of any impurities before you start layering skincare products.

To use a foaming cleanser, squeeze a dime sized amount of the cleanser on your palm. And massage it into wet skin for a couple of minutes in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

Here’s my recommendation of Korean cleanser to include in your Korean skincare for acne – ETUDE HOUSE SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser

Step 3: Exfoliator (twice in a week)

Exfoliating regularly is good. It keeps your pores clean and skin smooth. This inturn helps your skin absorb your skincare products well.

Exfoliation removes dead skin cells and promotes skin regeneration. Exfoliation can help even out skin tone, reduce pigmentation, unclog pores, and improve skin texture. Using an exfoliator in your morning skincare routine will prove to be more beneficial than in the night.

How to use an exfoliator: Take some product in your palm. Gently massage over wet skin (emphasis on gently). Don’t ignore areas like your neck and jawline. Rinse and pat dry.

Here’s my recommendation for an exfoliator to add to your Korean skincare for acne – COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid. This is a great product for those with oily, acne prone skin.

    Step 4: Toner

The next step in your Korean skincare for acne is to tone your skin. A toner is formulated to balance your skin’s pH levels and get rid of dead skin cells. This helps your skincare products like serum and moisturizer absorb better into the skin.

Use a cotton and soak it with your toner and sweep it across your face gently Wait for a few seconds for it get completely absorbed into your skin.

Here’s my recommendation for Korean toner for acne prone skin – COSRx AHA BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner

    Step 5: Essence

Essence is a concentrated liquid that intensely hydrates your skin. Korean essences are extremely popular and a vital part of the Korean skincare regimen for acne.

Korean essences prepare your skin for the next set of skincare ingredients and makes way for better absorption of the products.

Using an essence is easy. Just apply some of the product on a cotton pad or on your fingers and pat it on your face.

Here’s my recommendation – COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

Step 6: Sheet Mask (twice a week)

Acne prone skin can constantly feel irritated and inflamed. Sheet masks are a great way to calm your skin and soothe it. Korean sheet masks for acne prone skin are formulated with targeted ingredients that help reduce inflammation and soothe the skin.

If you have other skin concerns like pigmentation, wrinkles, etc – you can look for a sheet mask that’s formulated with ingredients that target that particular skin concern.

Check the instructions on the packaging to understand how to use the face sheet mask. Typically, all you have to do is align the face mask to you face and let it sit for some time (this is usually indicated in the packaging soc heck before you apply the mask. It can be anywhere between 10 – 30 minutes).

Remove the mask after you’ve let it sit for the instructed amount of time. Pat your skin so that the remaining essence is absorbed. Don’t rinse your face after this. You can continue with the next step in your skin care routine.

My recommendation for sheet mask to add to your Korean skincare for acne – Celavi Essence Tea Tree Paper Sheet Mask.

    Step 7: Serums

Serums are concentrated liquids with active ingredients that penetrate deep into your skin. Serums are formulated with targeted ingredients. So choose a Korean serum depending on what results you want. Some people layer multiple serums to get the desired results.

It’s your choice if you want to do that. Or you can target one skin concern at a time (I recommend this as it’s easier on your skin). If you want to use multiple serums then you can use one serum during your morning skincare routine and a different serum to target a secondary skin issue during your night time skin care routine.

To apply the serum – take one pump of the product on your palm. Massage it gently all over the face. Let it sit for 30 seconds so it’s properly absorbed. You can follow this with your second serum by doing the same.

My recommendation for serum to add in your Korean skincare for acne – Dear, KLAIRS Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

    Step 8: Eye Cream

The undereye skin is often ignored during skincare. Your under eye is the most fragile part of your skin. And because it’s so sensitive, it’s more prone to dehydration, wrinkles and fine lines. Eye creams help improve your undereye skin and prevent wrinkles, dark circles, and dehydration.

To apply undereye cream take a little but of the product you ring finger tip. Then, pat the cream on the orbital bone, eyelids, and the temple area. Avoid massaging the cream into your skin as this can make wrinkles worse and cause irritation. Don’t apply it too close to your eye as it can get into your eye which can be dangerous.

You can apply it once in the morning and night. Applying it once a day is also fine.

Here’s my recommendation to add to your Korean skincare for acne – Mizon Collagen Power Firming Eye Cream

    Step 9: Moisturizer

Moisturizing is so so important to skin that’s prone to acne. A moisturizer hydrates and locks in moisture so your skin remains plump all day. For acne prone skin, use a light moisturizer that’s hypoallergenic and use ingredients that soothe acne prone skin.

My recommendation for moisturizer to add to your Korean skincare for acne – Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream

    Step 10: Sunscreen

Finish your morning skincare routine with a Korean sunscreen formulated for acne prone skin, especially if you’re going to be stepping out. Sunscreen protect you from the UVA and UVB rays that cause premature aging and sunburns. Choose a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 – 50 and PA +++ to PA ++++

My recommendation for sunscreen to add to your Korean skincare for acne is – DERMALOGY by NEOGENLAB SUNSCREEN

Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence RX – Best Korean Anti Aging Essence

Best Korean Anti Aging Essence for Dry Skin

This hydrating essence is a one stop solution for your dry and dehydrated skin. I love how this essence also improves skin tone, texture and skin clarity.

Missha essence is a double moisturising essence that helps your skin change fast due to yeast fermentation. This was my first buy for essence and I am extremely impressed with it.

It comes in a bottle and has a pumping system so a pump or two is enough for one time use. The bottle is clear from outside and it’s visible how much you’ve used the essence.

    Best korean anti aging essence

The main ingredient in Missa essence is vitamin B which is great for improving fine lines and wrinkles that are visible as we age. The double-fermentation technology for skin rejuvenation is something this essence is worth a try for.

If you have dry and sensitive skin, this product should be your go-to as its ultra-hydrating. Avoid this essence if you have oily or acne-prone skin.

Innisfree Fermented Soybean Firming Energy Essence

Best Korean Anti Aging Essence for Combination Skin

This Innisfree essence is my sister’s go to and most favourite Korean beauty product. Upon being asked why, she said it’s because the product visibly showed changes like skin brightness. Tone, smoothness and dewiness in less than a month.

It is loaded with antioxidant-rich fermented soya bean extracts from Jeju islands in South Korea that helps in skin moisturizing and making it look timeless. It comes in a clear bottle and you can press to extract however much you need.

    Top korean anti aging essence

Using twice, AM and PM can yield better results. The best part about this innisfree essence is that it is free of harmful chemicals like parabens, mineral oils etc.

Go for this one if you have an oily skin type or a combination of oily and dry skin. I’d rate this 5 for calming the complexion and hydrating and 3.5 for reducing wrinkles and fine lines.

There’s also a cheaper version of soybean energy essence that you can go for but it won’t render all the benefits that the fermented soybean firming energy essence does.

Blithe Vital Treatment 8 Nourishing Beans Anti Aging Essence

Best Korean Anti Aging Essence for Mature Skin

Blithe vital treatment essence is one of the best Korean anti-aging essences for vitalising and hydrating the skin with fermented raw natural ingredients.

If you have rough skin with tired lines, don’t think twice about buying this product. I’d rate this 5/5 for making the skin supple and removing unwanted lines.

It contains 80% extracts of beans like Adzuki, red Mung, lentils, Soy and kidney beans and no harmful ingredients like parabens, sulphates, BHA etc.

best korean anti aging products 2021

It’s rich and soft liquid texture feels like water on skin and aids in cell regeneration, clear and better skin tone and complexion.

You can also go for other alternatives like 9 Essential Seed or 5 Energy Roots which are meant for dull skin and dry skin respectively.

Use this product, only if you’re strictly above 25 years old.

Amore Pacific Time Response Skin Reserve Fluid

Best Korean Anti Aging Essence for Normal Skin

Amore Pacific is like the Gucci of K-beauty skincare brands but trust me, it’s quite promising. They call themselves handcrafted where they’ve cultivated the key ingredient- green tea in a Korean Island.

This essence has long lasting benefits that will help you achieve a younger, softer and hydrated skin. It boosts skin elasticity and forms a light protective layer on the skin.

Some of the ingredients used are Green Tea, Bamboo Sap and Red Ginseng that seeps deep into the skin to provide nourishment and radiance.

    best korean essence

Would definitely rate this 5/5 for skin glow but a 4 for hydration. It is best suited on normal skin type, not too dry and not too oily.

It’s unbelievably expensive so you can go for a budgeted option if you don’t want to invest so much on a single product.

Tonymoly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Essence

Best Korean Anti Aging Essence for All Skin Types

Tonymoly green tea essence will be a great addition to your skincare regime. This essence was gifted to me by a friend and I’ve used it a couple of times. It is extremely soothing, hydrating and revitalising on the skin.

It has 80% fermented green tea extracts that provide gentle yet intense moisturizing effects on the skin which is probably the best part of this essence.

    affordable korean essence

It comes in a pumping bottle and there’s no wastage as 2 pumps are enough for the entire face.

The best part about this is it’s extremely economical with effective benefits. Avoid this serum if your face is extremely oily, otherwise it’s meant for all skin types.

A 5/5 for hydration and revitalisation but 3.5 for blemishes.

    Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence

Best Korean Anti Aging Essence for Dull Skin

If you’ve been yearning for Korean “glass type” skin then this essence should definitely be the part and parcel of your skincare routine.

According to our skincare expert, it’s supremely hydrating and soothes redness and dry spots in no time. Hanskin essence makes the skin plumpy and dewy which is generally lost while aging.

This is best suitable on dry and fatigued skin and boots balance and glow when applied regularly. So, go for this in case you have dry and flaky skin.

    best korean essence for hyperpigmentation

This essence has sodium hyaluronate, a powerful moisturizer capable of holding up to 1,000x its weight in water. You can apply this for over 2 months and see the results yourself.

Use a cotton pad while applying from this cute little pink topped pumping bottle. 2-3 pea sized drops are enough for the entire face.

Our skin expert rated this 5/5 for hydration, soothing redness and dry sports whereas 4 for balance and 3.5 for wrinkles and fine lines.

What to look for when buying a Korean anti aging essence?

These are some of the aspects that you must consider when buying a face essence:

Ingredients: Look for products with fermented ingredients as it helps in better absorption as microorganisms break down the molecules into small sizes. You can also go for hyaluronic acid as it reduces wrinkles, fine lines and soothes dry skin.

Ingredients to look for in your Anti-Aging Essence:

    • Hayluronic acid
    • Retinoids (avoid during pregnancy)
    • Peptides
    • Niacinamide
    • Tea extracts
    • Snail mucin filtrate
    • Vitamin C

Ingredients to avoid in your Anti-Aging Essence:

    • Parabens
    • Sulfate
    • Perfume
    • Alcohol
    • Mineral Oils

Hydration Power: Go for ultra hydrating and oil free essence if you’ve dry skin whereas if you’ve oily skin you can go for normal hydration with oil-free base like glycerin.

Packaging: Try getting a bottled essence with a single whole or a pumping system as it is easier to keep and use.

Fragrance: Go for fragrance-free or mildly fragrant essence to avoid reaction on your skin.

    Hydration is the Key

Keeping your skin hydrated can reap so many benefits and also help you achieve the typical “glass skin” that Koreans have.

Hope this article helped you pick the best anti aging essence for your skin keeping in mind the hydration, ingredients, fragrance and packaging in mind!

How to choose the best Korean cushion foundation:

Here are the points to remember when you’re looking for a cushion foundation:

    • Skin type: Skin type is an important factor when choosing a cushion foundation to make sure it suits your skin and blends well. If you have dry skin, buy a cushion foundation that moisturizes and hydrates your skin, giving you a dewy finish. However, if your skin is oily then go for matte finish cushion foundation with hydrating properties.
    • SPF: SPF is important as you often wear it when you’re going out. SPF cushion foundations can protect your skin from harmful UV damages and keep your skin soft, supple and protected. A minimum of SPF 30 is important in your cushion foundation.
    • Skin tone: If the cushion foundation is random and doesn’t match your skin tone then it might look extremely odd. Look for something that blends in your skin tone and gives a natural look. You can go for a shade lighter than your skin tone but it’s advisable to test it before purchasing it.

If you have oily skin, you will have to use powder to bring it to semi- matte look. Korean cushion foundations can be transformational for the skin.

They are like a bridge between skincare and makeup. The best Korean cushion foundations provide the basic protection your skin needs along with the natural makeup coverage. Mostly, Korean cushion foundations are lightweight and don’t clog pores.

The application of the cushion foundation is fairly easy like how you apply pressed powders, just since in this case you dag the puff on your skin, spend time in blending the fluid product for the even finish. You can also use your finger tips to make sure bleeding is done well.

5 Best Korean Zinc Sunscreens 2025 | For Complete Skin Protection

We curated a list of the best Korean zinc sunscreens for you. Check it out!

Come winter or summer, the one thing that needs to remain constant in your skincare routine is a sunblock. If you happen to skip this final and most important step, you’re going to be beating yourself up a couple years down the line.

Lack of adequate sun protection can give rise to premature signs of aging, leading to wrinkles, fine lines, and spots very early on. And hey, I’m trying my best to look as youthful as possible!

For a bout of experimentation, I sought out this can’t-live-without product from some of my favorite Korean brands. Additionally, I looked specifically for zinc oxide in higher concentrations as opposed to titanium dioxide as it provides a broad spectrum benefit.

Not only are these formulas highly protective, they also go a step further to better the look of your skin.

How to Choose The Best Korean Zinc Sunscreens

To ensure that these sunscreen picks perform well, I tested them on 3 parameters listed below:

    • SPF and PA rating: When looking for a sunscreen, consider what SPF or sun protection factor it has, as this determines how well your skin will be protected against harmful rays. The good thing is that most sunscreens formulated in Korea are placed at an SPF of 50 or higher, which is more than ideal.
    • Apart from this, a PA rating is also displayed, which keeps UVA rays away, these are notorious rays that cause the skin to age quicker. Anything between +++ or ++++ is good, but opting for the highest is always ideal.
    • Ingredients: The great thing about any Korean beauty product is that it does more than it claims or is designed to. So, most sunscreens also give your skin a range of other benefits such as moisturization or a balanced barrier. You can figure out your skin concerns and make a pick.
    • Consistency: Choosing the right texture of sunscreen is important because if you like it, you’ll use it more and there’s no such thing as too much sunscreen! Also, certain lightweight textures will absorb into the skin well without leaving a blotchy finish.

What is the function of zinc in sunscreens: Why zinc is important?

Zinc oxide is a key active ingredient commonly found in sunscreens. It serves as a physical, mineral-based UV filter that provides broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Zinc oxide is important in sunscreens for several reasons:

    1. Sun Protection: Zinc oxide forms a protective barrier on the skin’s surface that reflects and scatters harmful UV rays away from the skin. It helps prevent sunburn and reduces the risk of long-term skin damage caused by sun exposure.
    2. Broad-Spectrum Protection: Zinc oxide provides broad-spectrum protection, meaning it shields the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays can penetrate deep into the skin, causing premature aging and increasing the risk of skin cancer. UVB rays are responsible for causing sunburn and also contribute to skin cancer development.
    3. Gentle on the Skin: Zinc oxide is known for its gentle nature, making it suitable for sensitive skin types. It is less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions compared to some chemical UV filters found in sunscreens.
    4. Photostability: Zinc oxide is photostable, meaning it does not degrade when exposed to sunlight. This stability ensures that the sunscreen remains effective in protecting the skin over time.
    5. Immediate Protection: Unlike some chemical UV filters that need time to be absorbed into the skin before becoming effective, zinc oxide provides immediate protection upon application.
    6. Non-Comedogenic: Zinc oxide is non-comedogenic, which means it is unlikely to clog pores or contribute to acne breakouts.
    7. Safe for Coral Reefs: Unlike certain chemical UV filters, zinc oxide is considered reef-safe and less harmful to marine ecosystems.

Due to its effectiveness and gentle nature, zinc oxide is a popular choice in many sunscreens, especially those formulated for sensitive skin or individuals with specific skin concerns. When choosing a sunscreen, look for one that contains zinc oxide and offers broad-spectrum protection with an appropriate SPF (Sun Protection Factor) for your skin type and the level of sun exposure. Remember to reapply sunscreen every two hours, or more frequently if swimming or sweating, to maintain its protective benefits.

Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF50+ / PA+++

I’m a self-proclaimed Etude House fanatic; their makeup ranges are not only aesthetically packaged, but also deliver the soft glam I want.

When I came across the skincare that they market, I couldn’t help but pick up this cute sunscreen. It was also mentioned by my favorite Instagram esthetician, and the price drew me in too.

    Best Korean Zinc Sunscreens

Super lightweight in consistency, I was surprised with how easily the formula glides onto the skin. It is known to contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits which works great for sensitive skin types, although it doesn’t boast any sweat or water-resistant qualities.

I usually apply this physical sunscreen as the last step of my routine before starting my base makeup.

Like the name suggests, the consistency is very fluid and watery; you don’t have to worry about any greasy feeling despite a lot of botanical oils headlining the ingredient list.

The white cast is persistent though, so ensure you blend the product in evenly with light fingers so there’s no streaks left behind.

I have personally not ventured into water bodies with this sunscreen on, but it did hold up pretty well through an intense SoulCycle session and didn’t burn my skin.

The slight citrus scent reminds me of a sweet sherbet on weekend mornings, and seals the deal. I also especially like how the sunscreen dries into a matte finish, covering up the sebum in my oily skin.

    bets korean zinc sunscreen

Having worn the sunscreen under makeup for a couple work meetings, I can testify that my foundation formula hasn’t pilled or oxidized, earning major points from me. If you’ve got dry skin, you might want to moisturize to the best of your ability as this formula isn’t very generous in that department.

    Pros

    • Lightweight consistency
    • Pleasant citrusy scent
    • Offers a matte finish
    • Suitable for sensitive skin types
    • Anti-inflammatory
    • Possesses antioxidant benefits
    • Non-greasy

    Cons

    • Not moisturizing enough
    • Leaves a mild white cast
    • Not resistant to water or sweat

IPKN Big Apple Sun Cream SPF 50

There are so many multipurpose skincare products out there, but I’ve never gone out of my way to bag any. But on my quest for Korean zinc sunscreens, I came across this Big Apple Sun Cream by IPKN that also claims to improve the skin’s appearance.

I was obviously intrigued, and wanted to treat my skin with this apple water extract and herb combination in the form of sun protection.

The formula is oil-free and claims to be color-correcting, helping your skin tone even out with use. Along with this, you’re expected to expect sebum control and pore size minimized.

The unique apple water extract contains crystals that pop upon application, giving a very refreshing feeling, and this has kept my skin soothed and away from potential breakouts.

IPKN Big Apple Sun Cream SPF 50

The base being green, this sunscreen will have you in a grip if redness, scars, and fine lines are among your major skin concerns. I’ve only used it for a little while so I’m yet to see these results, but I can definitely see the niacinamide giving me a brighter complexion as the weeks pass.

The pearl gold powder in this formulation does leave a delicious dewy glow on the skin, which is why I love it for the winters when my skin is a little on the drier side.

If fresh apples sourced from big farms is your idea of scents, you will do well with IPKN’s sunscreen. It layers like a dream under makeup, too!

    Pros

    • Doesn’t cause a burning sensation in the eyes
    • Layers well under base makeup
    • Pleasant apple scent
    • Lightweight consistency
    • Color-corrects redness
    • Brightens complexion
    • Leaves a dewy finish
    • Controls oil production
    • Soothes troubled skin

    Cons

    • Might leave behind a white-green cast
    • Too little product for price

SELF BEAUTY Airlasting Probiotics Worry-Free Sunscreen SPF50+/PA++++

SELF BEAUTY Airlasting Probiotics Worry-Free Sunscreen

When I first began religiously incorporating sunscreen into my regimen, I ran into a lot of formulas I wasn’t a fan of. They’d either be too chemical-smelling or leave me looking like the ghost of your nightmares.

Which is why when SELF BEAUTY’s product claims to be the antithesis of that, I was lured in like Hansel and Gretel were!

It is best suited to oily and acne-prone skin types, and the formula goes on ever so gently and lightly with no stickiness, heaviness, or grease whatsoever. Think about a sunscreen that doesn’t feel like a sunscreen. The resultant finish is satiny, which goes almost unnoticed under my foundation.

SELF BEAUTY Airlasting Probiotics Worry-Free Sunscreen

What I fell in love with was the list of ingredients—they work to truly repair and consolidate the barrier. Calendula flower extract and a probiotic complex help soothe flare-ups, nelumbo nucifera extract delivers a boost of moisture, and houttuynia cordata gives your complexion a natural-looking oomph.

It doesn’t really have a special shade as such, working on almost all skin tones. There have been quite a few days when I skipped base makeup because of how glowy this sunscreen left me.

The protection factor is also commendable, in my opinion, because even when you’re indoors screen lights can damage the skin.

    Pros

    • Fast-absorbing
    • Weightless consistency
    • Moisturizes skin
    • Gives a dewy finish
    • Layers well under makeup
    • Ideal for sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin types
    • Soothes the skin barrier

    Cons

    • Some might find the scent to be overpowering

NEOGEN Dermalogy Day-Light Protection Airy Sunscreen SPF 50/PA+++

NEOGEN Dermalogy Day-Light Protection Airy Sunscreen

It’s difficult to traverse the world of Korean skincare without coming across the celebratory praises of NEOGEN. Be it their emollient creams or toner pads, this brand has nailed down formulations to a T. The same goes for their sunscreen, which was no less than a charm to try.

I know it’s in the name, but the absolutely airy texture of this cream had me going insane for a long time. Every time I applied it, the 20-plant extract-enriched formula almost disappeared, blurring out my pores and blotting out the oil on my T-zone.

NEOGEN Dermalogy Day-Light Protection Airy Sunscreen

In texture, it mimics an essence. You can feel the richness enveloping your skin but at the same time, it’s like there’s nothing there! I’ve felt my skin being hydrated from within thanks to elements like avocado, aloe vera, raspberry, and baobab to name a few.

Additionally, this non-sticky sunscreen claims to be free of 23 whopping harsh chemicals, and you know how we love that!

It is hypoallergenic, which means sensitive skin beauties can have a go too. My favorite part is how a little goes a long way, and the tube lasts me for months on end before I can repurchase it!

    Pros

    • Airy consistency
    • Gives skin a refreshed feel
    • Hypoallergenic
    • Contains 20 nourishing plant extracts
    • Free of 23 types of harsh chemicals
    • Hydrates skin
    • Absorbs quickly

    Cons

    • Some might not like the scent

ETUDE HOUSE Soonjung Mild Defense Sun Cream SPF49/PA++

Two ETUDE HOUSE products on a single list? Yes, that’s how easy it is to predict what my favorite brands are! Not long after I used the Sunprise and enjoyed its results, I wanted to get my hands on more of what this Korean label had to offer.

The Soonjung, however, packs a punch to soothe the skin with its blend of panthenol and madecassoside. If you’re frequently experiencing breakouts and redness, these ingredients are sure to tone them down a notch.

The formula is also low pH with only naturally-derived elements under its belt. My skin sensitivities rejoiced at this while the creamy and non-sticky texture went in well and was absorbed quickly.

ETUDE HOUSE Soonjung Mild Defense Sun Cream SPF49/PA++

With its powerful Cooling Relief, the sunscreen claims to ward away any fine dust from clinging to the skin and cause a buildup of bacteria. And I did notice protection from both the sun and pollution during my time of wearing this product. However, its thick consistency makes me want to push it away to the winters when I’m cooped up in my bedroom!

    Pros

    • Hypoallergenic
    • Low pH
    • Contains natural ingredients
    • Gives a cooling effect
    • Soothes the barrier
    • Moisturizes skin

    Cons

    • The formula is thick and heavy, taking a while to absorb and leaving a white cast

Fragrances: It is best to go for scent-free eye creams if you have a sensitive skin. If you want to go for a scented eye cream then ensure that it doesn’t disrupt the natural ph balance of your skin.

Packaging: Try to get an eye cream that is tightly (airtight) packed because it shouldn’t come in contact with oxygen. It contains antioxidant properties that might be lost if the eye cream is left open.

What are the factors on which I rated the best Korean eye creams on a a scale of 1-5

When it comes to rating the best Korean eye creams, I consider several factors that make a difference in their effectiveness. I have personally used and tested several eye creams and considered the following factors while rating the top ones on a scale of 1-5.

Firstly, ingredients matter the most. I look for eye creams that have natural and active ingredients such as green tea, snail mucin, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. These ingredients help to hydrate, brighten, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Secondly, the texture of an eye cream is critical. It should be lightweight, non-greasy, and fast-absorbing. I prefer eye creams that are easy to apply and do not leave any residue on the skin.

Thirdly, the packaging should be convenient and easy to use. A good eye cream comes in a tube or a pump that allows me to dispense just the right amount of product without wasting any.

Fourthly, price matters. The best Korean eye creams are not necessarily the most expensive ones. I look for affordable yet high-quality options that offer good value for money.

Overall, these factors help me rate the best Korean eye creams on a scale of 1-5. By considering these factors, I am sure that anyone can find an eye cream that will work wonders for their under-eye area.

If you’re someone who’s been struggling with under-eye circles, I highly recommend giving the Cosrx Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream a try.

Top Korean Toner for Dry Skin 2025

Ingredients to look for in your Korean toner for dry skin:

Toners are an essential part of Korean skincare routine and applying it reaps great benefits. It’s extremely important to buy a toner that suits your skin type and here’s what ingredients you’d require in your toner for dry skin:

    • Hydrating ingredients: Since dry skin is deprived of hydration, looking for a toner with hydrating ingredients is important. Look for toners that have ingredients like snail mucin, aloe vera extracts, tea tree etc. Essential oils and natural oils like argan oil, coconut oil etc are also great for locking in moisture. Hyaluronic acid is another ingredient that works great for dry skin.
    • Ceramides: These are natural lipids that help protect the skin barrier of the skin. It also helps in strengthening and keeping the skin cells hydrated. Ceramides heal the rough and dry skin.
    • Anti -inflammatory ingredients: Inflammation is often caused in dry skin because of redness, irritation, flakiness etc. Hence, look for ingredients like green tea, chamomile etc that soothe your skin and reduce irritation.

How to choose the best Korean toner For Dry Skin?

Choosing the best Korean toner for dry skin can be a daunting task, but fear not, for I am here to guide you through this process. Dry skin requires special attention and care, and choosing the right toner can make a world of difference.

First and foremost, look for a toner that is specifically designed for dry skin. Not all toners are created equal and using the wrong one can cause more harm than good.

Make sure to read the labels and ingredients list carefully to ensure that the toner contains ingredients that soothe, hydrate, and nourish the skin. Hydration is key when it comes to dry skin, so look for toners that include ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and aloe vera.

These ingredients will help to lock in moisture and leave your skin feeling revitalized and refreshed. Another important factor to consider is the pH level of the toner.

The ideal pH level for dry skin is between 5.5 and 6.5. Using a toner with a higher or lower pH level can disrupt the natural pH balance of your skin, causing irritation and dryness.

Lastly, choose a toner that has a light and refreshing texture. Toners that are heavy or greasy can clog pores and cause breakouts.

Opt for a toner that is lightweight and easily absorbed by the skin. In conclusion, choosing the perfect Korean toner for dry skin requires reading labels, checking ingredients, and considering pH levels and texture.

Follow these guidelines, and you’ll be on your way to healthy, hydrated, and glowing skin in no time!

How to use toner for dry skin types

If you have dry skin, you know just how frustrating it can be to find the right skincare routine. However, using a Korean toner for dry skin can be a game-changer.

Here’s how to use toner for dry skin types: Firstly, cleanse your skin with a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt or impurities.

Pat dry and then apply a small amount of toner onto a cotton pad. Gently swipe it across your face, but be careful not to rub too hard or for too long as this can further dry your skin.

A Korean toner for dry skin will not only help hydrate your skin but also provide it with necessary nutrients. Look for toners that contain hyaluronic acid, which can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, or aloe vera, which is incredibly soothing and hydrating.

After applying toner, continue with the rest of your skincare routine such as serums, moisturizers, and sunscreen.

Don’t forget to drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated from within. Remember to use your toner morning and night, as consistency is key when it comes to skincare.

As always, patch test before using any new product and consult with a dermatologist if you have any concerns.

Using a Korean toner for dry skin can make all the difference in achieving dewy and glowing skin. Don’t let dry skin hold you back, start incorporating a toner today for softer, smoother, and more hydrated skin.

Should I use toner first or serum if I have dry skin

When it comes to taking care of our skin, we want to make sure we’re using the right products in the right order.

If you have dry skin, you may be wondering whether you should use toner or serum first. The short answer is: it depends!

Toner is typically used as a follow-up to cleansing, but it can also help to balance your skin’s pH levels and prepare it for the next steps in your routine.

For dry skin, it’s important to choose a toner that’s hydrating and soothing, rather than astringent and drying. Look for toners that contain ingredients like hyaluronic acid, chamomile, or aloe vera, which can help to hydrate and calm dry skin.

Serum, on the other hand, is a more concentrated treatment that’s designed to penetrate deeper into the skin. It typically contains a higher concentration of active ingredients, such as antioxidants or peptides, which can help to address specific skin concerns.

If you have dry skin, you may want to look for serums that contain ingredients like vitamin E, niacinamide, or ceramides, which can help to nourish and protect your skin.

So, should you use toner or serum first? As a general rule, it’s best to apply your toner first, followed by your serum. However, if you find that your skin is particularly dry, you may want to switch things up and apply your serum first, followed by your toner.

This can help to seal in the nourishing ingredients in your serum and provide an extra layer of hydration for your skin.

At the end of the day, it’s all about listening to your skin and finding what works best for you. With the right combination of products and a little bit of trial and error, you can help to nourish and hydrate your dry skin and achieve a healthy, glowing complexion.

How to Choose the Best Korean Cleansing Foam

There are 5 things you need to consider when choosing a cleanser – Skin type, pH level, Hydration and brightening, acne treatment and scent.

    • Skin Type: If you have oily skin type, it’s recommended you opt for oil-control face wash that can effectively cleanse your pores deeply. It’s best to go with charcoal-based cleansing foam for oily skin. For dry skin type, opt for a hydrating cleansing foam. If your skin is prone to acne and redness, opt for a cleansing foam with willow bark, aloe vera extracts, and witch hazel. For normal skin type, however, most cleansing foams can do a good job.
    • pH Level: If you have acne-prone skin, opt for Korean cleansers with higher pH levels. And if you have a more dry complexion, opt for Korean cleansing foams with lower pH levels.
    • Hydration and Brightening:You will find several cleansing foams in the market that tend to make your skin dry. But most Korean cleansing foams are hydrating in nature and lock-in moisture. Korean beauty products are formulated to achieve that transparent, glass-like skin. So if you want skin like that it’s vital to choose a best Korean cleansing foam that locks-in moisture.
    • Acne Treatment: If you have oily skin type acne-prone skin, it’s extremely important that you choose a Korean cleansing foam that is specially formulated for acne-prone skin. If your skin is susceptible to breakouts, choosing the wrong kind of cleansing foam can worsen the acne.
    • Scent: This entirely depends on your preference. Using scented products like cleansing foam makes you feel confident. Best Korean cleansing foams use natural scents like aloe vera, tea tree extract, green ten, almond oil, rose oil, and lavender oil. These natural scents not only make your skin fragrant but also nourish your skin. However, you will also find several best Korean cleansing foams that are fragrance-free, if that’s what you like!

Korean Cleansing Foam Vs Regular Face Wash: What’s The Difference?

    1. Formulation: Korean cleansing foams often have a lightweight and airy texture due to the inclusion of ingredients like botanical extracts and natural oils. Regular face washes, on the other hand, may have a gel, cream, or liquid consistency with a different blend of surfactants and cleansing agents.
    2. Ingredients: Korean cleansing foams tend to emphasize the use of natural ingredients such as green tea, rice water, or snail mucin, which are believed to provide additional skincare benefits. Regular face washes may focus more on standard cleansing agents without specific emphasis on additional skincare benefits.
    3. Moisturizing Properties: Korean cleansing foams often contain hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycerin to help retain moisture and prevent dryness after cleansing. Regular face washes may not prioritize moisturizing properties and may require additional moisturizer application after cleansing.
    4. pH Balance: Korean cleansing foams are generally formulated to have a pH level closer to the skin’s natural pH, typically around 5.5, which helps maintain a healthy skin barrier. Regular face washes may vary in pH and may not always prioritize this specific balance.
    5. Skincare Routine: Korean skincare routines often involve multiple cleansing steps, where a cleansing oil or balm is used first to remove makeup and sunscreen, followed by a Korean cleansing foam for a deeper cleanse. Regular face washes are typically used as a standalone cleansing step in a simpler skincare routine.

It’s important to note that these differences can vary depending on the specific products and brands within the Korean skincare and regular face wash categories. Always read the ingredient lists and product descriptions to understand the unique features and benefits of each product you consider using.

How to choose the best Korean lip balm?

For me, personally, I like a lip balm that can do multiple things. The ability to keep my lips moisturized is a must; sun protection is negotiable, depending on what my day looks like, although it is preferable. When it comes to gloss and tint, they are important factors to consider because you don’t want to wear the wrong lip balm at the wrong place. Too much gloss in the day can be gaudy.

So when you’re choosing the lip balm, keep these certain characteristics in mind, so you can have one lip balm for the summer and another for the winters and even switch between night and day.

    Top Korean Lip Balms 2025

What ingredients should you look for in a Korean lip balm?

    • Hydrating: hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, vitamin E, shea butter, and squalane
    • Reversing Dark lips: Good SPF, avocado oil
    • Sensitive lip solutions: Shea butter, coconut oil, other natural ingredients
    • Vegan options: Agave, Green Tea Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Argan Oil

How to choose the right Korean Lip Balm for you?

You can obviously prioritize what the most damning issue for you is and base your purchase decision on that, but here are some points to take into consideration when you’re choosing a lip balm:

    1. Sun-protection: I can’t emphasize this enough — prevention really is better than cure. If you buy a lip balm that has an SPF 15 or more, you’re already doing your part for your lips. You’re protecting against dryness, tanning and general harm.
    2. Natural ingredients: Choosing a lip balm with only natural ingredients is especially important for those who have sensitive lips. Lip balms with berry extracts and natural oils act slowly but efficiently.
    3. General ingredients: This is rare, but stay aware of the ingredients you’re allergic to and avoid buying lip balms that have it. It is possible that it may cause a reaction to your lips.
    4. Non-sticky: A thick layer is one thing and sticky is another. Some lip balms, despite a thin layer, seem to create a sticky layer on the surface of the lips, making the application uncomfortable. Make sure to choose one that is lightweight.
    5. Long-lasting: Lastly, a lip balm that doesn’t wear off simply because you had a sip of water is important. There are lip balms that feel good on the lips for a few minutes and have no effect on the deeper layers of the lips. That’s why make sure to choose one that keeps your lips hydrated and moisturized all day.

All the Korean lip balms I have reviewed above fall on the affordable side of your budget. Feel free to experiment and do a switcheroo from time to time. It can be fun experimenting with different flavours, vases, textures and tints. I hope this guide helped you choose your next lip balm.

The lesser-known Korean Lip care routine:

Have you ever been envious of the supple, soft, hydrated and kissable lips that you see? Or is it just me? In all honesty, it is not that hard to achieve. It might just take about ten minutes of your day’s time.

Step 1: Like any other skincare routine, make sure you clean up the rea first. Making sure you clean your lips with some micellar water will ensure that you got rid of all the bacteria and make-up from the day.

Step 2: Take a hot textured towel and gently rub it against your lips. This helps start the exfoliation process, making it ready for the next step.

Step 3: Place your lips in front of a steamer, not too close, and steam your lips for about a minute or two. Steaming in general is a very important step in the Korean skincare process. This step in the lip care regimen is in fact the most important step. It helps soften the dead skin cells on the surface of your lips and make way for the revival of your lips.

Step 4: Scrub! Now that all the dead skin cells on your lips are loose, a gentle scrub on your lips with help you get rid of them and soften your lips. After 30 seconds of scrubbing, wipe it off with a towel.

Step 5: Take an ice cube and slowly run it all over your lips. You can instant;y feel your lips plump. The cold from this ice after the heat from the steam is going to act as a blood circulation booster. By this point, you can see a huge difference in your lips. Pat it dry and make way for the next step!

Step 6: Finally, a lip mask! This step is to provide intense hydration to your skin. You can either use lip sheet masks and leave them on for 15 minutes or use a balm-like sleeping masks and leave it on overnight.

In 6 steps and 10 minutes of your time, you’ve got fuller lips and a whole new motivation to take pouty pictures!

Tips for Lip Care for Soft and Smooth Lips:

    • Exfoliate your lips: exfoliating your lips to get rid of flakiness, dryness and chapped lips is great. You can exfoliate by using a wet washcloth to remove dry and dead cells from the surface of your lips once a week. You’ll feel your lips are smoother, softer and better in no time.
    • Lip Balm all the time: Carry your lip balm along with you and keep applying it whenever you feel like your lips are dry and dehydrated. Lip balms are easy to carry and apply so you don’t have to worry about it, just keep it in your bag.
    • Use the right lip products: Choose your lip products very carefully and make sure all your lip products are free of toxic ingredients and are formulated with natural ingredients. Tinted lip products are nice but try to look beyond it as it’s not the priority for your lip care.
    • Overnight lip hydration: Your lips need hydration even when you’re asleep. Make sure to apply lip balm and moisturise it just like your face before going to bed.

ETUDE HOUSE Cherry Sweet Color Lip Balm

Best Korean Lip Balm for Dehydrated Lips

One thing we’re often afraid of when it comes to roll-up lip balms is that they’ll collect in the lip lines and give you an unsophisticated look. But that’s not the case with this lip balm.

    best korean lip balm tint

I chose the Cherry Sweet BE101 variant, but there are 4 others to choose from. The tint that comes from this lip balm suits my complexion well.

In fact, even with just one swipe, you get a decent amount of tint. Along with the tint, the lip balm has a certain shimmer to it that comes in the form of gloss and a little bit of glitter.

The many, many nourishing oils in the lip balm act as a great moisturizing agent, and the fruit extracts make it feel fresh and plum.

All in all, I was also impressed with the length of the stick, since it was comparably longer than the others.

    Pros:

    • Moisturising and hydrating
    • Long lasting
    • Glossy colour
    • Sweet smell

    Cons:

    • Not for extremely dry lips

    My ratings:

    • Ingredients: 4/5
    • Hydration and moisturization: 4/5
    • Fragrance: 5/5
    • Colour: 5/5

isoi Bulgarian Rose Lip Treatment Balm

Best Korean Lip Balm with Tint

This comes in two variants, pink and rose. I usually chose light shades, so I went with the pink one. Although my sister did buy the deep red one. I was under the assumption that it would be heavily pigmented, but it just left a nice, breezy tint.

    best korean lip balm 2021

I can’t tell you how well it worked for me last winter. I did not go to any family gathering without this. The tint made it seem natural and like I’m not trying too hard while also keeping my lips moisturized. Thanks to the Bulgarian damask rose oil, castor seed oil and the near-perfect combination of beeswax and candelilla, putting the lip balm on just one time was enough.

This lip balm works to the extent that it will work on your skin and exfoliate the dead skin cells. This is one of my personal favourites and will definitely keep purchasing till they stop making this!

    Pros:

    • 24/7 hydration
    • Natural ingredients
    • Sweet smell and tinted colour
    • Exfoliating and healing formula

    Cons:

    • No value for money

    My rating

    • Ingredients: 4.5/5
    • Hydration and moisturization: 4/5
    • Fragrance: 4/5
    • Colour: 5/5

    Hanyul Lip Balm

Best Korean Lip Balm for Super Dry Lips

Grab this before it goes out of stock again — trust me. Even if I have a drawer full of lip balms and sleeping masks, I will buy this lip balm every time it comes back in stock.

    multi purpose lip balm korean

Owing to my obsessive habit of putting on lip balm every time my hand goes into my pocket, I can’t get enough of it. It doesn’t help that this is super affordable! On top of that, after 3 months of use, this lip balm was not even half over.

The lack of high shine and gloss and only a slight tint makes it great for everyday use. The texture it leaves on your lips is creamy and buttery, making your lips look lustrous.

The ingredients might be a turn off for you — nothing special about them, it’s a lot of wax. Beeswax and synthetic max and many emollient compounds make up the whole lip balm. But, it does the job. One thing to consider during the purchase is the fact that it does not have any kind of SPF.

    Pros:

    • Shine free
    • Naturally moisturising
    • Pleasant smell
    • Sturdy packaging
    • Creamy texture

    Cons:

    • Might not suit everyone

    My ratings:

    • Ingredients: 4/5
    • Hydration and moisturization: 4/5
    • Fragrance: 4.5/5
    • Colour: 1/5

    TONYMOLY Mini Peach Lip Balm

Best Korean Lip Balm with SPF

I purchased this for two reasons — in this particular order — the cutest packaging and the brand Tony Moly. I already included another one of Tony Moly’s lip balms in this review and loved it. This one — I have mixed feelings.

best korean lip balm with spf

Let me list everything I love about it first — the completely addictive sweet peach scent is to die for. It’s not strong enough to linger, so that’s good. It is loaded with fruit extracts of all kinds. So many berries — Strawberry, Cranberry, Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry. All of these have antioxidant properties that help keep the lips nourished and healthy. Add shea butter and witch hazel to that and you’ve got day long hydration!

    best korean colored lip balm

When it comes to how it looks, it adds a good layer of sheen with just a small dab on your fingers. That’s where I find it a bit irksome. I am not a fan of lip balm in pots. This will last you a really long time, and if you’re good with pots, do buy this. There’s nothing else not to like about it.

    Pros:

    • Hydrates and protects the lips
    • Cute packaging
    • Pleasant scent

    Cons:

    • Small quantity

    My ratings:

    • Ingredients: 3.5/5
    • Hydration and moisturization: 4/5
    • Fragrance: 4/5
    • Colour: 2/5

    I’M MEME Pep! Balm

Best Korean Lip Balm with Matte Finish

It’s time to diversify that makeup drawer of yours. Efficient and affordable are only two of the many things I want to call this. Is it a lip balm or liquid lipstick or cheek tint? Who can tell? I won’t lie, it was an influencer’s Instagram story that made me buy this. I got influenced!

    best korean moisturizing lip balm

I am not disappointed with my purchase at all and also supremely impressed with the packaging. When applying make-up can resemble squirting paint out of a tube, it makes you feel artistic. The pigment of the balm-cum-cheek tint is very strong. Despite that, I found that it wore off quite quickly, but left a splash of colour on my lips

Even though the balm wasn’t exactly moisturizing, it didn’t dry my lips either. I found that the best way to use this lip balm was to wear another lip balm with sheen under it and wear this on top or colour.

As a cheek tint, it isn’t the best — it doesn’t spread as easily with the brush and if you’re not used to makeup it will just be messy. But if your purpose really is to buy a lip balm that helps keep your lips hydrated — I wouldn’t recommend buying this, it’s just not moisturizing enough.

    Pros:

    • Natural ingredients
    • Non-sticky and non drying
    • Simple to use
    • highly tinted

    Cons:

    • Not for super sensitive lips

    My ratings

    • Ingredients: 4/5
    • Hydration and moisturization: 5/5
    • Fragrance: 4/5
    • Colour: 5/5

    SKINFOOD Tomato Jelly Tint Lip

Best Korean Lip Balm with Glossy Finish

I was quite unimpressed with the packaging, but honestly, the balm made up for it. The simplicity of the packaging just describes how simply and wonderfully the lip balm works on your lips. Before we go ahead, I’d like to say that this lip balm is particularly excellent for those with light lips, if you really want the tint to show.

    best korean beauty lip balm

The lip balm stained my lips well and kept them hydrated for the most part of the day. The balm seemed to tackle the flakiness on my lips. In addition to that, if you roll up the lip balm, you can see some glitter. But on your lips, you can’t see much of it.

Ingredients wise — It is simple and it does its job. The combination of Vitamin E, Tomato Extracts, Jojoba Oil, and Macadamia Nut Oil helps keep your lips moisturized and nourished.

After buying one shade, I bought the other shades too, because of how good it looked on my lips. I was shocked by how same all the shades looked on my skin. So while it definitely is worth buying one, anyone for that matter, it is not worth buying another shade.

    Pros:

    • Long lasting
    • Plumpy and revitalised lips
    • Simple to use
    • Natural and benefitting ingredients

    Cons:
